Wild Man Meat

When it came time to film the IMPULSE CONTROL meat video, it was January and snowing. Although my intrepid husband often “mans” the grill in the snow, I am not so hearty. Plus, one of my favorite cooking tips learned in culinary school applies to searing, not grilling, so I took creative license with the scene. Rest assured many of the principles of searing meat also apply to grilling meat, as they are both dry heat cooking methods.

  1. Get your grill super hot.
  2. Oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Don’t move your meat! (Until you are ready to cross-hatch it or flip it.)
